Shepherd's Pie

Not all pies are created equal. Some are very special.  March 14 is National Pi(e) Day. 3.14 ha ha, get it? (I know, corny.) Shepherd's Pie, made with primarily lamb, and Cottage Pie, made of beef,  I compromised with the "meatloaf mix" made up of pork, veal and beef. Topped with broiled mashed potato and cheese crust,  this is the best savory option you'll ever come across!

Spice Rubbed Steakhouse Style Chicken Wings in Your Pressure Cooker

What’s not to love about a cold pint of your favorite beer and a giant pile of tangy and spicy chicken wings? How about the calories from the deep fried batter? Or the embarrassment of eating them... sauce smeared on your face and fingers?  AND that you have to leave the comfort of your own home to get them, while paying a ridiculous price?! Well, here’s the answer to all those problems... pressure cooked wings tossed in a special steakhouse spice mix! You’ll still have the sauce smeared fingers, but at least you’ll be surrounded by your own friends and family.

Guinness Irish Stew

Move over corned beef! This sirloin stew is a slow cooked, super tender, traditional Irish comfort food. The rich gravy is incredible; building on the beefy flavor with a substantial amount of Guinness, fresh herbs and lots of hearty root vegetables. Grab a slice of your favorite soda bread, slather it with some Kerrygold butter, and dig in. Sláinte!

Fall-Off-The-Bone Crockpot Chicken Wings

These wings are so incredible, they're slow cooked all afternoon for fall-off-the-bone tenderness in a mouthwatering hot sauce and butter combination. I especially love that they aren't  deep-fried (way healthier, right?) They're also never under cooked or dried out; just the most delicious chicken wings outside of your favorite sports bar! Plus they could not be easier to make.

Chicken French

Rochester, New York has several claims to fame, but one of my favorites is Chicken French. Thin cutlets are breaded in egg and flour and then bathed in a lemon, wine and butter sauce. The silky texture and intoxicating aroma are part of what make this an unmistakable Rochester comfort food!

Crab Cake Sliders

Crab cakes are such an indulgent meal, I can't resist ordering one every time I see them on the menu. Little did I know they were so easy to make at home!  The secret is to use a combination of crabmeat for optimal flavor and texture plus using baking powder in the batter!
